Pilot action in Cervia pinewood
The pilot action is implemented into the Cervia Natural Park. The park is located in the municipality of Cervia which is an area covered by the Po Delta Park, Leader area, in the historical pinewood , green oasis of 32 square meters. The pinewood is defined as a plain wood and is classified as a site of community interest and a Special Protection area in the Po Delta Park area. The Cervia Natural Park has always been famous also for the animals that it hosts: horses, goats, sheep, fallow deer, pigs, hens, rabbits and many small mammals. So it is an important educational farm area; it is also foreseen didactic and guided tour activities. The objective was to guide the choices to develop the Natural Park as a place dedicated to childhood, creating a unitary image for users
Feasibility study related to the Cervia pinewood
The study is carried out with the aim of defining actions for the qualification of the offer and providing the park with an image that is in accordance with its context and new functions, a special feasibility study/intervention project is defined based mainly on the results of T2 and according to the priorities included in the Local Action Plan
Development and re-establishment of the external spaces
A line of playful and attractive furniture for children and families has been introduced. Various custom areas were created, colors, themes placed at points along the bar and placed in the context of the park. The areas for which a permeable pavement bordered by curbs has been installed are composed of hand-made wooden furniture that discusses each space with a dedication to the animals present in the park. A farm area was created where the figures of chickens, pigs, sheep... were reproduced on the tables and chairs; that of wild animals dedicated to deer, wild boars ..., that of fantastic animals and so on.
Bird nests installement
The area of the pine forest was set up with bird nests and thus became a bird's corner with the aim of favoring the presence of birds and for educational and didactic activities.
